I'm not sure what kind of blinds to choose. Can you help?

We are always happy to help. Our customer care team will always offer honest, helpful advice & where possible provide suitable solutions for your project. Just get in touch via our contact form, on the phone or drop us an email. All of our contact info can be found on our Contact Us page.

Do you offer home visits and a measuring service?

Yes, our home visits and measuring service is included within the cost of your blinds. Once a provisional price has been agreed and deposit taken we will come out and visit you, bringing our pattern books and information on our products. We will carry out the survey and confirm costs.

What information do you require to provide a quotation?

To provide a quotation we require quantities and sizes of the blinds. It's always helpful if an image can also be supplied (this can be uploaded here) so our consultants can easily see any issues and make recommendations at an early stage.

What is the ordering process for my blinds?

Once you have confirmed you would like to proceed with the order we ask for a 50% deposit. Our project manager will then contact you to arrange a convenient time for a site survey, During the survey, we will discuss and show all fabric choices (if this has not already been discussed and confirmed). We will also answer any questions and provide further advice at the time of the survey.

How do I pay and what payment options are available?

Payment can be made over the phone with all major credit/debit cards accepted or via bank transfer (please note we charge a 2% surcharge for AMEX payments). We also acept payment via PayPal.

How long will my order take?

We do our best to make sure you receive your order as fast as possible. However, because our products are all bespoke, there is a manufacturing time associated with every order. Your project manager will confirm the date of installation or date of delivery at the time of ordering.

Do you provide a warranty or guarantee?

Yes our Lutron and QMotion products all come with a Five Year guarantee. All other products are guaranteed for Two Years (please see our standard terms and conditions for full details)

Are your products child safe?

What's the difference between a 'Recess' and 'Blind' Size?

Recess Size is the internal measurements of your window reveal as illustrated in the image below. For a Recess Size, please provide us with the exact wall to wall & ceiling to sill measurements with no reductions. We will then make the appropriate reduction to ensure the blind fits perfectly within the space. The reduction size varies depending on the type of blind.

Blind Size is an exact size you would like the blind to be including brackets. In most instances, this will apply if you are fitting your blind on the wall outside of your window recess. This is illustrated in the image below

Can I amend my order once placed?

If ordered on a standard delivery rate, you may be able to amend your order within 24 hours. Any next-day orders cannot be amended due to their urgent production.

What if I measure my windows incorrectly?

Don't worry! After your initial measurements have been used to generate a quotation and your order is placed we always visit to make sure everything is OK. We expect small differences in sizes which is why we always double check everything 'before' manufacturing your blinds.

Do you install blinds?

Yes. As part of our service, we employ professional fitters with years of experience who will install your blinds or/and control systems. We always provide a quotation for this as part of your initial costing.

Can I install the blinds myself?

Yes. We always recommend using our professional fitters to install your blinds however you are under no obligation to use this service.

How do I measure my windows for the blinds?

Remember to use a metal tape measure!

Inside Mount: 1. Make sure your window has enough depth for the product you have chosen (see the "Mounting Requirements" section for your product). If your window does not have sufficient depth, select another product or an outside mount. 2. Measure width. For Roller Shades, Sheer Shades and Vertical Blinds, record the width at the top of the window only. For all other window coverings, record the top, middle and bottom measurements, using the smallest of the three for your width. 3. Measure height at the left, middle and right sides. Use the shortest measurement of the three for Sheer Shades, Vertical Blinds and Shutters.

Outside Mount: 1. Measure the width and height of the area you want your blinds to cover. Your product will be made to the exact measurements you specify. For roller shades, consider adding more width than with other products. 2. Include additional height for the mounting brackets, which are up to 2 1/2" tall. 3. Take note of obstructions like alarm systems, moulding, doorknobs and deadbolts that might get in the way of your window covering. Some products are available with spacer blocks or extension brackets to help clear these obstructions.
